John Aboud, Jr., Ph.D.
|
|
John is a director of Organization Dimensions. For 15 years prior to forming Organization Dimensions with his brother Bill, John was a Professor of Management at Villanova University, Babson College and Virginia Commonwealth University.
|
|
In addition to his academic work, John consulted with a number of companies in the areas of employee motivation, team-building and leadership. He also provided counseling for companies contemplating organizational or management transitions including moving towards empowered work teams. He has authored numerous articles and cases dealing with motivation, entrepreneurship and the management of change. He served as an Adjunct Faculty member at GE's Management Development Institute for a number of years.

John received his B.S. from Juniata College in 1962, an M.A. from Temple University in 1963 and a Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from Pennsylvania State University in 1968.

John is a Licensed Psychologist and a member of the American Psychological Association, the Academy of Management and The International Congress of Applied Psychology.
William G. Aboud

Bill is a senior partner in Organization Dimensions, an international management education and consulting firm providing management training, course design, executive counseling and coaching. Organization Dimensions has worked with municipal and state governments in the United States, multi-national industrial firms and financial institutions in North and South America, Europe, Australia and Asia, including AT&T, General Electric Company, BHP World Minerals, Sun Microsystems, DuPont, Hercules, Digital Equipment, Westvaco, Honeywell, James River Corporation, NationsBank and the U.S. Federal Government.

Prior to forming Organization Dimensions with his brother, John, Bill was Corporate Director of Training, responsible for all training and development activities for executive, management and supervisory personnel throughout Cooper Industries, a $4 billion corporation.

Bill had 15 years service with General Electric Company in various employee relations management positions. He served two tours at the Management Development Institute in Crotonville, New York, where he designed and led programs for management, supervisory and hourly personnel. While there, Bill assisted Walt Storey in developing the career planning materials used throughout the General Electric Company. He was Employee Relations Manager for the Engineering Department of GEIS and was the Director of Training for Utah International while it was a GE sector.

Bill received a B.S. from Villanova University in 1965 and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1972.

Bill was formerly a Captain in the Army National Guard, a member of the Future Studies Committee of the Houston Chamber of Commerce, Member of the Board of Directors of the Concert Chorale of Houston, member of ASTD and appeared in Who's Who in the South and Southwest. He is Senior advisor and executive coach for Evergreen enterprises a 40 million giftware supplier, volunteer consultantant to Midcoast Mental Health Center and the Atlantic Challenge Foundation in Rockland, Maine. He is the author of "Establishing the Hourly Pay Structure" in Handbook of Wage and Salary Administration (Ed. Rock, M.L., McGraw Hill).

He resides with his wife, Pat, and daughter, Anya, in Richmond, Virginia in the winter and Cushing, Maine in the summer.
Marianne Vermeer

|
Marianne has been associated with Organization Dimensions since 1995. She has consulted with entrepreneurial startups, new business owners and companies in transition. In five years in management and professional development with Ohio University in Athens, Ohio she worked with companies of all sizes and descriptions. She has also worked as an independent consultant with many growing companies and nonprofit organizations on their strategic planning and marketing needs.

In Richmond, Marianne acted as the founding director of the Richmond Angel Investment Network. She also serves on the board of the Richmond Area Technology Council and the Richmond Venture Capital Club. Currently the Vice-President of Operations with a Richmond area investment bank, Marianne works with OD on special projects.

Marianne earned the MBA in entrepreneurship and innovation from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania in 1988. She also holds a B.A. from Colorado State University (1980).

Marianne has had a wide range of life experiences, including coordinating a worldwide service volunteer network, working with troubled rural youth and serving as a teacher in a primary school in Egypt. She has been deeply involved in community and self-development efforts, especially with women and disadvantaged persons. In addition to long involvement with Habitat for Humanity, she serves as Board President of Richmond Metropolitan Habitat.
Joseph R. Weintraub, Ph.D.

Joe was instrumental in the founding of Organization Dimensions. He is a faculty member at Babson College in the department of management. He has consulted with many organizations large and small since 1973. He has been quoted numerous times in many publications including the "Wall Street Journal." He has also appeared as an expert commentator in both radio and TV. He is the co-author of the book "The Coaching Manager."

Joe has a B.S. from University of Pittsburgh and a
Ph.D. in Industrial Psychology from Bowling Green University. He
has lead the management "summer camp" for high school students for
Babson. Joe frequently works with entrepreneurs, sharing his
expertise and experiencing first hand the challenges of the
marketplace. He is currently involved in developing
baseball/golf/basketball fantasy camp for senior managers. |
